Rajasthan government implemented this scheme on the occasion of the birth anniversary of formal Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi. Under this yojana, free sanitary pads will be given to girls children and women the sanitary pads will be distributed by college schools and Anganwadi centres located in the state of Rajasthan. This Yojana is beneficial for the girl child among those women who cannot buy sanitary pads at expensive prices.

• Women who are not able to buy them due to being more expensive sanitary pads this yojana will get this benefit for them.

• Under the UDAN Yojana, women and girls will get the facility of good health and hygiene by getting free sanitary napkins.
• Sanitary napkins will be provided free of cost to all girls and girls students and women Government of Rajasthan.
• The brand ambassador or related department related to the Yojana will do good work they will also be honoured and rewarded by the Government of Rajasthan.
• The government has given the responsibility of implementing of Rajasthan Udan Yojana to various departments including the Technical Higher Education Department, Medical Health School, College Education Department, Tribal Regional Development, Panchayat, and ruler department development department.
• For effective implementation of this Yojana brand ambassadors will be made at the state level and one at the district level.
• In this Yojana, free sanitary napkins will be distributed among girls and women and girls by colleges schools, and Anganwadi centers in Rajasthan.
• The government has also given the responsibility of giving information about the Rajasthan Udaan Yojana to the women’s self-help groups and nongovernmental institutions of Rajasthan who will run awareness campions related to this Yojana from time to time so that girls and women get information about this scheme may it to be.
• To give free sanitary napkins to the women and girls of Rajasthan a budget of rupees 200 crores has been fixed by the government.

• Students and adolescent girls of Rajasthan as well as the women of the state will also get the benefit of this yojana.
• Mainly this scheme is for women and girls leaving in rural areas of Rajasthan who are financially weak and those who are unable to my sanitary napkin due to hesitation or because of lack of money and knowledge or other reasons.
