PM YASASVI (PM YOUNG ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD SCHEME FOR VIBRANT INDIA) SCHEME (2022) is a Golden opportunity for Other Backward Class(OBC), Economically Backward Class(EBC), and DNT ( Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic) students. This is a central sponsored umbrella scheme. The top-class school can be public (central/state /local body )or aided schools or private schools. The Department of social justice and empowerment under the ministry of social justice and the government of India has responsible for the conducting scholarship exam.

Who is Eligible
- Indian Citizen.
- Belonging to OBC or EBC or DNT category.
- Study in identified top-class school public (central/state/local body) or aided school or private school.
- They should pass class 8 or class 10 in 2021-22.
- The annual income of the parents is not more than rupees 2.5 lakhs.
- Applying for class 9th exam- born between (01-04-2006 to 31-03-2010)both days inclusive.
- Applying for class 11th exam- born between. (01-04-2004 to 31-03-2008) both days are inclusive.
- Both boys and girls are eligible to apply.
- Eligibility requirements for girls are the same as for boys.

Only one form can be submitted by one candidate. More than one or multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.

Benefits
The Government has planned through PM YASASVI SCHEME to offer 15,000 scholarships to students of classes 9 and 11 ranging from Rupees 75,000 to Rupees 1,25,000 per year.
The benefits of this scholarship program are applicable only in India not in foreign countries.
